Watching Cineasterna on Apple TV and AirPlay
Download the Cineasterna app from the Apple TV App Store on a supported Apple TV.
Using AirPlay
You can use AirPlay to watch our films on your Apple TV:
- Select a film and press Play.
- Tap the AirPlay icon in the top-right corner of the screen and select your Apple TV.
To stop AirPlay, tap the AirPlay icon again, then select your mobile device.
Watching Cineasterna on Android TV and Google TV
Install Cineasterna for Android TV or Google TV from the Google Play Store on a supported Android TV or Google TV.
Watching Cineasterna with Chromecast
Before you start casting, please ensure that the device you're casting from and the TV with Chromecast you're casting to are on the same Wi-Fi network.
Using the iOS/Android app
In the app, tap the Cast button in the top-right corner of the screen and select the Chromecast device that's connected to your TV. Start playing a film on the app to display it via Chromecast on your TV.
Casting from the Cineasterna website in a Chrome browser
Start the film in your Chrome browser by clicking Play to launch the video player. From the browser menu, choose Cast and then select your Chromecast device.
Can't find the Chromecast icon in the app?
Try uninstalling and then reinstalling the app.
You will then need to press "OK" when you receive a message asking to give the app permission to find and connect to your local devices, such as Chromecast. After that, the Chromecast icon should appear in the app.

Watching Cineasterna on Android phones and tablets
The Cineasterna app is available in the Google Play Store
Smart TV
To play a film on your Smart TV, you can use the built-in browser and go to www.cineasterna.com. You can also stream our films on Smart TVs that have built-in support for AirPlay and Chromecast.
Note: When playing a film on your Smart TV via our iOS app, you may need to activate subtitles using your TV remote (not through the app).
