To use Cineasterna, you need an active library card from one of the libraries that offer our service. Creating a user account on Cineasterna alone is not sufficient to borrow films; you need your library card to complete the borrowing process.
If you have created a user account on Cineasterna, we recommend saving your library card under "My Account" > "Connected Library Cards." Select your library and save your details. This way, you won’t need to enter your details every time you borrow a film.
If you are logged into your user account and still cannot complete your borrowing, try removing your saved library card from your account. Add it again and then attempt to borrow a film.
If you are unable to re-add your library card, the issue may be related to your library card. Visit your library’s website, click on "Log in," and check if you can log in to verify that your library card is active.
Contact your local library if you cannot log in to the library’s website.
